After growing up on dirt bikes and working on them for top amateur athletes, Lars shifted his focus to bicycles around 2014. His journey from Cat2 road racing to Pro Mountain Bike Racing began when he and his wife, Katherine, moved to Boulder, CO, in 2021.

With several years of experience in the bike industry, Lars decided to branch out and offer his own services, putting YOU at the forefront. What sets Lars apart is his collaborative, informative, and proactive approach to understanding what you and your bike need.

No more dropping your bike off at the shop and returning to unexpected charges of $300 or more, without knowing what work was done or if it was even necessary. Transparency and knowledge-sharing are at the heart of Lars’ mechanic style.

Are you pretty savvy and can service almost everything on your own but need help with a specific task (like a hydraulic brake setup/bleed, bottom bracket install, or wheel true)? Lars has got you covered, no judgment here.

Want to upgrade a few components but not sure where to get the best value? Chat with Lars about your budget and his recommendations for new and used parts! (He can also sell your old parts for a small commission fee.)

Know your bike needs some work but not sure what? Lars can help. You can hand over your bike and let him figure out the biggest priorities. Or, if you want to learn more about bike maintenance, ask all your questions without fear of being taken advantage of—you’ve come to the right place.
